Leticia do Sol was commissioned by a member of the Canottieri Tevere Remo Club of Rome. Then she belonged to the Cinzano family and the Count Ancarani of Milan. In 1996, it was purchased by industrialist Antonino Zanussi, who kept her in Lignano Sabbiadoro until his death. Between 2002 and 2005 the new owner has restored it. In 2013 she attended the Barcolana Classic and the following year participated in the Panerai circuit Classic Yachts Challenge where she broke both masts. Then the new owner decided to modify the boat, according to the original plans, bringing she back to the original one-masted sail plan with a mast of spruce wood. In 2015 she re-participated in the meetings of Antibes, Elba, Argentario, Naples, Gaeta, Corsica, Cannes and Viareggio. In 2016 restoring work continues; deck, rigging, new sails. In 2016 she attended the rally of Antibes, Corsica Classic and Imperia. The current owner has spent a lot of time and energy to give "Leticia" her original health and beauty, working on structures, hull, deck and rig; following the original plans and technics.
